Ben Bishop closes the door to the Habs Christopher Pellerin

Named third star of last week , Bishhop proved once again that he could do the trick in the absence of Craig Anderson, the number one goalkeeper. His performances enabled him to clinch the first star of the match. Just like he did with the Binghamton Senators in the AHL during the lock, Bishop begins to climb the slope in brilliant fashion after a rather unsteady start to the season.
His face-to-face, Carey Price, was less busy with 24 shots.

After a first twenty without a goal, the two teams exchanged two goals in the second from the sixth minute. David Dziurzynski opened the ball for the Senators, but Andrei Markov replied for the CH on the power play, with only three seconds to go in the period.

On his return to the game, Peter Regin touched the target in shootout, to bring victory to his. Jakob Silfverberg scored the other goal of the Sens and David Desharnais was the only scorer of the Canadian, who only bowed for the third time in his last ten games. This was the third duel between the two teams this year. Unlike the previous two duels, the Senses were decimated by the many injuries. The latter won two of the first three battles.
